Inside the official afterparty of the EE BAFTA Film Awards
We go behind the post-ceremony celebrations – a night full of revelry, lots of excellent tequila and a buffet of winners’ masks

On Sunday evening, the great and good of the big screen flocked to the Royal Festival Hall, London, to mark one of awards season’s biggest fixtures: the EE BAFTAs. Conclave won big, as did Brady Corbet’s immense feature The Brutalist, and Mikey Madison scooped the top gong for leading actress. As with all things celebratory and cinema, though, the night was as much about the post-event action as the main occasion itself. And, so, once the bronze masks were handed out and the applause was done, we headed to the official afterparty at the Southbank Centre, where the likes of Adrien Brody, David Jonsson, Mikey Madison, Colman Domingo and Jesse Eisenberg were in attendance – and the do was made even more spirited by generous pourings of cocktails, courtesy of Don Julio, including the label’s mini Tommy’s Margaritas, which were served in newly released Don Julio 1942 5cl bottles, complete with gold straws.
Below, we offer you a peek inside the occasion, where a Don Julio Winners’ Bar was created, a destination at which recipients of awards had their masks and bottles of tequila personalised; Raven Smith hosted and interviewed bar guests such as Colman Domingo and Kelly Rutherford; and the Wicked team danced through the late hours. And for those wanting a taste of the gilded event, you can sample La Musa Dorada (the official 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards cocktail, which makes use of Don Julio 1942 tequila, rose water and sherry, and is garnished with a light bergamot-and-mandarin perfume) at The Savoy throughout February.
