As I’m sure many of you know, shopping can be a stressful experience. Rushing from shop to shop to find the perfect shoes to match your summer shorts. That’s why here at GJ we are not massive fans of the high street.,
We much prefer shopping destinations, like Bicester Village. They have found a way to make the shopping experience exactly that, an experience, with the introduction of the Café Wolseley.
The latest venture from Corbin & King, the Café Wolseley, is serving traditional European Grande Café style treats all day long. Open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and even a takeaway counter and shop.
Smartly presented with The Wolseley’s iconic art deco styling, it is unmistakably British. You’re practically transported to Piccadilly as soon as you step inside.
If you are familiar with the Wolseley’s offerings you won’t be disappointed as they have all of your favourites on the menu along with a few new additions, just for Bicester shoppers.
If you’re shopping all day, you can pop in for some Wolseley Battenberg, Apple & Poppy Seed Cake or even some delicious Sachertorte — with a suitably thirst-quenching Macchiato, Cappuccino or mug of herbal tea.
Of course, if you’ve got more time to sit down, either pop in for the finest full English this side of the capital, or main courses from a Rib-Eye Steak to Cafe Wolseley’s famous Schnitzels. Too heavy after a day picking up bargains? Why not reward your deal finding with a bout of Afternoon Tea instead? We can attest, it’s among the best.
