We know what you’re thinking: it’s bright white. Not very shadowy. But, while Aston Martin’s latest is available in six separate body colours, it’s the trim that affords it such a dark and dusky name. The interior is finished in black leather and the sill plates have been anodised black. The exterior features darkened headlights, gloss black wheels and black chrome badging. You can even get grey brake callipers and seat stitching. Sounding pretty shadowy now, huh?

Somewhat surprisingly, Brabus describe this well-equipped SUV as a ‘supercar’. But who are we to question its choice? After all, the 800 Adventure XLP is the highest performance pick-up we’ve ever come across. It’s got a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8, a top speed of 130mph and a ground clearance of almost half a metre. Inside, you’ll also find a rocket silver matte paint finish and burnt oak Brabus leather interior. Sounds pretty super to us.

We can’t put our fingers on it, but there’s something about blackwatch that we just really, really like. The subtle, traditional pattern just checks all the checked boxes. Now that we’ve got another seven months to speculate on No Time To Die, it’s the perfect time to revisit our article on the suits we want to see Daniel Craig to shrug on in his final film as the super-spy.
