Machines. They can do everything these days, can’t they? And, while we’ll admit that much modern engineering and many newfangled, meticulous mechanisms are beyond us, we’re all too happy to reap the benefits.
And what benefits there are! This week alone, we’ve seen the Rolls-Royce Phantom V charge back to life electrically, we’ve witnessed the birth of a beer-brewing machine that’ll take us from grain to glass in our own home and we’ve buckled on Breitling’s latest lightweight, COSC-certified chronograph.
