The vast capital city of Spain is a haven of amazing food, culture and sport. The city host two of the biggest football teams in the world and one of the best basketball teams in Spain, plus there’s the incredible bullfighting ring, which is the biggest in Spain. The city is landlocked, with average temperatures recording twenty 5% in July and the city is host of some of the most incredible food and drink in the whole of Europe: think Sangria by the bucketload and more chorizo than you can shake a stick at. The city holds a host of beautiful hotels, and we recommend the Hotel Villa Real, a five-star hotel in the centre of the City.
Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world and the oldest in western Europe. You can visit Lisbon at anytime of the year because its always a comfortable temperature, it has the warmest winters of any metropolis in Europe with average temperatures of 15%. Summers are much higher, and Lisbon beaches are amazing. The city is rich in culture: architecture, museums and the opera house are all incredible attractions worth visiting, even if you’re just there for the weekend. Golfers: Lisboa and Troia are two courses that you simply you need to visit.
