Get Christmas wrapped up at Tommy Hilfiger’s new London store
The brand’s new Liverpool Street outpost is the shopping destination of the season
There are now just 16 days left until Christmas and, if you’ve already cherry picked the best from your usual retail haunts, we’ve got some good news: Tommy Hilfiger has just opened a shiny new store in London’s Liverpool Street and it’s got everything you need to finish your Christmas shopping.
Located at 100 Liverpool Street, in the upscale Broadgate Centre shopping hub, the new store spans a huge 2,150 square feet and takes its design cues from the nautical inspirations that have inflected Tommy Hilfiger collections for decades. Double-height wraparound windows flood the space with natural light while accents of oak, walnut and white lacquer lend the store a bright and airy feel perfect for examining its wares.
And they are wares you’ll want to examine closely, as the new Tommy Hilfiger store is home to the best of the brand’s vast collection. Here you’ll find the latest signature Tommy Hilfiger Sportswear collections for men and women (including the Icons capsule collection which, we’ll tell you now, makes up the bulk of our Christmas wish lists), along with tailoring and a curated selection from the Hilfiger Collection – a range of pieces for women inspired by Tommy Hilfiger’s nautical and utility heritage with a modern American twist. Not sure what to buy for your sister? Look no further.
Of course, these are uncertain times in which to undertake physical shopping trips but visitors to Tommy Hilfiger’s Liverpool Street store can rest assured that stringent safety measures are in place. In line with the brand’s mission to Waste Nothing and Welcome All, which is reflected in the new holiday campaign which sees influential figures such as Candace Reels, Adam Kenworthy and Renée Stewart embracing optimism and the new normal in their own homes, the store has been sensitively designed to accommodate the needs of both Covid-19 restrictions and optimal accessibility for the future.
As well as a limit on customer capacity and dressing room occupancy, physical distancing is in place throughout the store and hand sanitiser stations are provided in abundance. With an in-store lift and spacious, accessible dressing rooms, the store is also accommodating to wheelchair users, while those who prefer to limit their in-person activity can make use of the brand Click & Collect service. Simply order your items online and pick them up from the Liverpool Street store at your convenience.
“No matter the circumstance, we will always meet consumers where they are,” says Martijn Hagman, CEO, Tommy Hilfiger Global and PVH Europe. “In 2020, meeting their needs meant providing new health and safety measures, protective accessories, take-back support and greater omnichannel connectivity. Driven by our consumer-first approach, we will also continue to evolve our in-store safeguards to ensure shoppers can comfortably visit and enjoy our retail locations. We still view our physical stores as our greatest asset, and are optimistic that consumers can continue to experience the brand immersion, tailored services and local partner collaborations they offer.”
So what are you waiting for? The new store is now open and ready to cater to all your last minute Christmas shopping conundrums. You can thank us for the tip later…
