What’s in a name? Well, if you’re a Kennedy, a hell of a lot. An entire annexe of the modern press has been devoted to this curious celebrity political dynasty, much of it centering around the phooey ‘curse’ that supposedly stalks all those born into the name. And though certain offshoots of the tree have shed the dreaded ‘K’ word (as off-shoots are wont to do), the fascination with this most successful, tragic and genetically-blessed of families continues.
But who are the youngest generation of the bloodline, what do they do, and how do they hope to further that famous legacy? Gentleman’s Journal presents your cut-out-and-keep guide to the young Kennedy clan.

In true Kennedy-Schwarzenegger fashion, she is embedded in Hollywood royalty: in June 2019 she married Chris Pratt.
Christina Schwarzenegger
Age: 27
Where does she fit in: , Daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver; granddaughter of Eunice Kennedy Shriver; great-granddaughter of patriarch Joseph ‘Joe’ Kennedy Snr.

She’s also the executive producer of Take Your Pills, a Netflix documentary about prescription drugs, and a writer for Gwyneth Paltrow’s blog Goop. Christina was at one point linked romantically to Miley Cyrus’ brother Braison (at the same time her brother Patrick was seeing Miley herself).
Robert ‘Bobby’ Kennedy III
Age: 34
Where does he fit in:, Son of Robert F Kennedy Jnr and Emily Ruth Black; grandson of Robert ‘Bobby’ F Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy; great-grandson of Joseph ‘Joe’ Kennedy Snr.
What does he do:, A charming man about town and entertainment-industry honcho, Bobby has worked as both an actor (where he played an eerily-realistic college rich kid who ditches school for some Italian antics in AmeriQua) and a producer-director hybrid for a handful of documentaries.
He’s also developed Freak Power: The Battle of Aspen, a project based on writer Hunter S Thompson’s unlikely political ambitions. In July 2018, he married former CIA agent and Oxford graduate Amaryllis Fox (pictured above) in what his father described as a “kind of clambake” at the Kennedy family pile in Hyannis Port, which is just about the most New England sentence imaginable.
Joe Kennedy III
Age: 38
Where does he fit in:, Son of Joseph P Kennedy II; grandson of Robert F ‘Bobby’ Kennedy; great grandson of Joseph ‘Joe’ Kennedy Snr.
What does he do:, A Harvard law graduate with a couple of years in the Dominican Republic Peace Corps under his belt, Joe Kennedy III is cut from classic Kennedy cloth. In fact, he was elected the US Representative for Massachusetts’ 4th congressional district in 2013, where his family roots made him the overwhelming favourite among the New England faithful.
In January 2018, the congressman delivered the Democratic response to President Trump’s State of the Union address, where he accused the President of “rolling back rights by the day”. He also delivered an impassioned response to Trump’s impeachment acquittal, accusing the Republican party of being ‘willing to set a dangerous precedent to hold onto power’.
(Fun fact: Kennedy was dubbed ‘milkman’ at college due to his reputation as a teetotaller. Unable to ply him with drinks, his lacrosse club teammates would jokingly order him glasses of milk at every bar they went to.)
Conor Kennedy

What does he do:, Young Conor has inherited the family propensity towards beautiful women and drama at short notice — in 2017, he was arrested following a bar fight in Aspen, and for a period a few years ago was dating Taylor Swift. He’s also campaigned for the Ocean Alliance in the fight to save whales. Attended the august Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, and has a deathly allergy to nuts.

Kennedy, Jr., had banned her from using Snapchat and Instagram.she is now back on the platforms where she largely shares group images from glamorous nights out and family holidays.
Jack Schlossberg
Age: 26
Where does he fit in:, Son of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg; grandson of John F Kennedy and Jackie Onassis; great-grandson of Joseph ‘Joe’ Kennedy Snr.
What does he do:, Jack is imbued with all the ambition and Ivy League prestige of his forebears: after graduating from Yale in 2015, he popped over to Harvard Law School to pursue an MBA — a fast stream into big business or political heights, depending on who you ask.
The latter may be more likely, if a recent essay he wrote for Politico is to be believed, while an appearance on The Today Show saw him echo grandfather JFK’s democratic optimism: “People are taking it upon themselves, young people especially, organising around the country to do what they think is right for our national interest and to choose good leadership.”
In May 2018, he presented the JFK Profile in Courage award to President Barack Obama, the same month he made his acting debut in Blue Bloods.,
Tatiana Schlossberg

Where does she fit in:, Daughter of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg; granddaughter of John F Kennedy and Jackie Onassis; great-granddaughter of Joseph ‘Joe’ Kennedy Snr.
What does she do:, Like her brother Jack, Tatiana went to Yale, where she edited the flagship paper the Yale Herald. After interning at the New York Times in 2012, Tatiana became a staff reporter for the paper, where she covers climate change and the environment.
